With liberty and justice for all. School children have recited those words in the United States Pledge of Allegiance for generations. The idea: justice should be available for everyone. But, it often isn’t due to a gap in our justice system.
In criminal cases, legal assistance is a right, guaranteed by our government even if you cannot afford an attorney. However, there is no right to counsel in civil matters. That often means coming up with large, upfront retainers many people cannot afford. For some, that inability to pay upfront can mean going without legal representation. Justice For Me aims to bridge that gap in our legal system through our service, which allows clients to pay overtime via monthly payments.
