Bryan Kennedy Crone is an attorney, counselor, and problem-solver.
Bryan is the founder and principal litigation attorney of Crone Law PLLC. With only a MacBook and smartphone, and without any capital or pre-existing clients, Bryan built our office from scratch. Since opening on September 1, 2015, The Law Office of Bryan Crone PLLC has transitioned into Crone Law PLLC and Bryan has continued to generate increases in YOY client and revenue growth in each full year Crone Law PLLC has been open. To date, Crone Law PLLC has represented several hundreds of clients in family law and civil litigation cases in the San Antonio to Austin metro area.
Bryan graduated from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, where he spent his second and third year representing St. Mary’s Law in mock trial competitions against law schools from all over the country. On more than a couple of occasions, he was named “Best Advocate” for his efforts. Bryan has also served as an adjunct professor at Our Lady of the Lake University, where he taught critical reading, writing, analytical, and other legal skills in beginning and advanced Mock Trial Courses to undergraduates intending to enter law school.
For several years during and after law school, Bryan was employed in a small law firm where he gained priceless experience working directly under one of the most elite civil trial attorneys in Texas on all aspects of complex plaintiff’s civil litigation cases. Bryan’s litigation practice necessarily involves taking cases to court but our practice ethos frequently allows us to resolve cases outside of court through agreement or mediation.
Crone Law PLLC serves clients in two primary areas of law: family law and plaintiff’s civil litigation cases. Bryan has broad experience in family law cases handling all types of divorces (agreed and contested; with and without children); original Suits Affecting the Parent-Child Relationship (SAPCR) cases; modifications and enforcements of prior family law orders; cases involving Child Protective Services (CPS); parental terminations; adoptions; and hearings on temporary orders, intermediate issues, and final orders in family law cases involving children under age 3, conservatorship (custody), highly-customized visitation arrangements, child support issues including Office of the Attorney General (OAG) cases in Title IV-D “child support” court and more.
Bryan also has broad civil litigation experience from past work on cases covering a diverse range of legal subject matter including issues pertaining to equine (horse) law; pediatric dentistry; landlord-tenant disputes; civil conspiracy; federal regulations of private airplane manufacturing; feature-film production; non-profit organizations, including the process of obtaining federal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status; issues affecting borrowers of federal and private student loans; free speech and liability considerations of art creation; real estate purchases; auto accidents and company vehicle personal injury litigation; purchasing, distribution, and commerce in the health care industry; platting and zoning of residential subdivisions and more.
Crone Law PLLC also provides legal and business advice to companies in several industries doing business both inside and outside of Texas. In this capacity, Bryan has successfully negotiated and secured a multi-year global licensing and distribution deal with the premiere media distributor of content at the heart of a client’s first full-length feature film.
Bryan was born and raised in Austin, Texas and is very proud to be a third-generation graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, where he received his undergraduate degree in Rhetoric & Writing the same year Colt McCoy completed nearly 80% of his passes and should have won the Heisman Trophy.
