Caitlin assists clients with estate planning decisions, probate, probate administration and other probate matters. Caitlin litigation experience extends into many types of fiduciary litigation, including litigation involving executors and trustees, and business litigation in both state and federal court. She is licensed to practice in all Texas state courts and in the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas. In addition to her work at The Haney Law Firm, Caitlin is extremely dedicated to her community. In June 2016, Caitlin cofounded the Cancer Law Clinic (CANLAW), which provides comprehensive pro bono estate planning services to cancer patients and their caretakers. She also serves on the board of directors for Horselink, a sanctuary for retired competition horses that offers equine assisted therapy to survivors of traumatic events and the Young Adult Cancer Advisory Board at the Livestrong Cancer Institute at Dell Medical School. In 2019, Caitlin was a finalist in the Austin Under 40 Awards in the legal category. In 2018, Caitlin was awarded the David H. Walter Community Excellence award by the Austin Bar Association and was named a Changemaker Finalist by the Austin Young Chamber. Caitlin is a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas and the Pro Bono College of Texas. Caitlin graduated magna cum laude from Indiana University School of Law. She served as a Managing Editor of the Indiana Law Journal and is a member of the Order of the Coif. She graduated from St. Andrews Presbyterian Collegeë_with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Philosophy with Departmental and General Honors, summa cum laude. At St. Andrew, she was selected by her peers as their graduation speaker and was awarded the Fouke Award for Excellence in Politics.
