I have been an attorney licensed in Texas for over 31 years. My focus has been litigation with an emphasis in family law, protective orders, divorces, custody, enforcement, child support and grandparents rights. I am licensed in Federal Court for the Western District of Texas and am certified to represent individuals in guardianships in Bexar County. In addition, I am a certified mediator. I was past President of the Family Law Section of the San Antonio Bar Association and former Board Member of the YWCA as well as the Texas Board of Public Accountancy. For the past 4 years I have been the Director of Legal Service for Catholic Charities, Archdiocese of San Antonio, developing and growing an affordable legal access program, including developing the Kinship program to assist grandparents and relatives having to raise children and needing affordable legal assistance. I believe legal services should be affordable and available to all. I always encourage settlement and resolution before resorting to the courtroom; however, when necessary, I am not hesitant to advocate vigorously for my clients. I have been married to Aaron Huron for 14 years. I enjoy participating actively in our parish life at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. I enjoy traveling, reading and cycling.
