Ms. Hativagone received her Juris Doctorate from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2018. While at St. Mary’s she was she was a staff writer of The Scholar – St. Mary’s Law Review on Race and Social Justice and was actively involved in various student organizations. During law school, she worked with the St. Mary’s Civil Justice Clinic to provide pro bono legal services to low-income clients. As a student attorney, Ms. Hativagone also represented clients in the Immigration and Human Rights Clinic. She volunteered for the San Antonio Bar Association’s Community Justice Program’s Family Law Clinic, Wills Clinic, and the Veteran’s Clinic.
After graduating from law school, Attorney Gamu worked as an Associate Attorney for a local firm where she was able to gain a lot of experience representing clients in a wide array of family law, probate, and estate planning matters. The firms’ services included divorce, paternity, child custody & visitation, grandparents’ rights, modifications & enforcements, division of marital property, child support, grandparents’ rights, termination & adoptions, estate planning and more. In May of 2021, Ms. Hativagone founded the Law Office of Gamu J. Hativagone, PLLC where she strives to provide her clients with competent, compassionate, and knowledgeable legal representation. The Law Office of Gamu J. Hativagone, PLLC places a premium on attorney-client communication and are readily accessible to clients.
Born and raised in Zimbabwe, she is fluent in Shona and is currently learning Spanish.
