How it works

  1. Join the JFM Network
  2. Engage with Potential Clients
  3. Initiate Client Application
  4. Represent Client
  5. Invoice JFM and Get Paid

Chances are you’ve had to turn some clients away because of their inability to fund a retainer in a timely fashion. When this happens, it means the client doesn’t get the legal help they need and you watch that income walk out the door. It’s a loss for both you and the client. This is the Justice Gap.

Justice For Me helps bridge the Justice Gap by making legal services affordable for your clients and lets you help more people, grow your business, and takes away any credit risks along with the hassle and time wasted doing collections.

FAQs

What if my client has a criminal case?

JFM will fund most minor infractions and misdemeanors, including some low-level felony issues such as DUIs.  In most cases, regardless of the creditworthiness, a coapplicant will be required.

How quickly will I get paid?

Most invoices are paid electronically in 5-7 business days.  If electronic payments cannot be accepted, please allow a minimum of 14 days for payments to be mailed.

Can I submit past due balances for clients who have closed cases with me?

No. However, on a case-by-case basis, if you have a current client who has a past due balance and wants to use JFM because they cannot afford to pay invoices for future work, we are happy to evaluate them for a line of credit.

Can I have a client apply for Justice For Me credit after they have a closed case with me?

No, we don’t finance closed cases. We can only fund invoices for current work.
